Lynn grew up watching her dad compete and being a part of his pit crew at multiple Ohio valley race tracks. She was just as content to play in the dirt with hot wheels as she was to play with a Barbie doll. In 2003, she decided being on her dad's pit crew just wasn't enough to fill her "need for speed". With help from Tim, she built a Dodge Daytona that she raced in 2003 and 2004. At the end of the 2004 season, they set to work building a new compact for 2005 that would become a history-making racecar. Her 2005 season was a great success, and she not only earned a feature win on the first race of the season, but also became the first female to ever win a feature race at Shadybowl Speedway. After her success in the compact class, she moved into a V8 powered late model in 2006. In 2008, she took a few years off from being behind the wheel of a racecar to focus on her business and build a street rod. By 2012 her business was on solid footing and she began a friendship with Paul Hazlett, a member of the Ohio Valley Dwarf Car Association. Paul offered to put Lynn behind the wheel of one of his race cars for the 2013 season. She eagerly accepted, and to this day, Paul and Lynn remain teammates and great friends.

Lynn is the owner of, a graphic design and print studio. She also owns and runs, a burlesque accessories company. Prior to being an independent business owner, Lynn taught computer repair, graphic design, and various software programs to adults at the Miami Valley CTC for 8 years. Her first job was as a clerk in the War Plans Division at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base.
