Installation instructions for printed graphics

• DO NOT use any water or liquids to install printed or wrap vinyl (even for mock-ups or test fits)
• Properly clean and prepare the surface for the vinyl by:

1 – cleaning the surface with a mild soap and water

2 – drying the surface with a soft, lint-free towel, then wipe the surface down with rubbing alcohol on a paper towel.

3 - Wipe the surface down with a tack rag after alcohol has evaporated.

Measure to determine placement.

Center vinyl on surface and place a piece of masking tape in the middle (from top to bottom), and place another vertical piece of tape to hold the right edge to surface.

Starting on the left side of the graphic, pull the application tape and backing paper apart (the vinyl will stick to the application tape). Pull the vinyl away from the backing paper until you reach the center tape line.

Using scissors, a razor blade, or exacto knife, cut away the exposed backing paper (be careful not to cut the graphic or scratch the surface you are applying the graphic to!)

If you are applying traditional vinyl graphics (not printed, wrap, holographic, metallized or specialty vinyl), you may squirt the surface of the adhesive with application fluid. Holding the graphic at a 90 degree angle, place a squeegee at the tape edge, and move the squeegee up and down across the graphic until you reach the edge making sure to smooth out any wrinkles or bubbles.

Remove tape from center and right edge of graphic (do not remove the application tape!) Peel remaining backing paper off the graphic while holding the vinyl at a 90 degree angle. Use a seesaw motion to apply the right side of the graphic, working from the center out to the edge.
