Pricing & Warranty Information
We Encourage You to Contact Us for Custom Quotes!
Custom Apparel - Please download our .PDF document to see the pricing tier for the most popular clothing items from our catalog. Items available in our catalog (that do not appear in the pricing tier) will be price quoted individually.
Banners - All of our banners come to you hemmed and grommeted so they are durable and ready to hang. You may choose from full-color print banners, or vinyl lettered banners.
It is easy to calculate the cost of your banner. The pricing is figured on square footage. The first step is to determine what size of banner you need. For our example, we will use a 2' x 6' banner.
Step 1: Multiply the length of your banner by the height of your banner ( 2' x 6' = 12).
Step 2: Multiply the square footage by $5. (12 x $5= $60).
Note: If you would like specialty (holographic, metallized, reflective, fluorescent) vinyls on your banner, there will be an additional charge (which will vary, depending on the overall square footage of your banner). Also, if you choose a banner color other than white, there will be an additional charge.
Corrugated Yard Signs - Yard signs are an easy and affordable way to display a temporary message. These signs are very durable and will last several months (and in many cases, several years!) Yard signs are eligible for bulk discounts.
Order 1-10 yard signs in the size 18" x 24", and they are $17 each (this includes lettering on both sides and the metal yard stakes).
Order 11-20 yard signs in 18" x 24", and they are just $15 each (including lettering on both sides and metal yard stakes).
If you are ordering 21+ yard signs, or need a custom size, please contact us for a quote.
Stencils - Stencil costs are based on total square inches, and the complexity of the design on the stencil. The minimum fee for stencils is $4. For larger stencils, an average cost is $.05 per square inch. For smaller, more complex stencils, the cost will be higher because of the work required to prepare the stencil for use. If you were to order a 15" tall stencil that is 72" long, with a somewhat simple design, the total cost would be $54 (15" x 72" = 1080, 1080 x $.05 = $54). Of course, this cost may be lower if the design is very simple! We encourage you to contact us for a custom quote...this gives you the opportunity to get our best pricing.
Wraps & Printed Decals (including full lamination) - Wraps and printed decals can open up a whole new world of visual design on everything from vehicles to boats, RVs, POP displays, and more. Because the technology involved in producing wrap vinyl is high, it is more pricey than typical vinyl graphics. Also, installation of wrap vinyl takes a great amount of time, skill and experience, adding to the total cost. Typically, an average per-square-inch cost of wrap vinyl is $.25. Again, we encourage you to contact us for a custom quote; wrap projects wary widely in the work and material involved to do the job right.
Vinyl Graphics (Standard & Specialty Vinyl) - As with all custom projects, the price of contour-cut vinyl graphics and lettering will vary widely depending on a number of factors. Vinyl is a petroleum product, so its price fluctuates quite often. We are confident that when you contact us for a quote, you will be pleasantly suprised at our affordability, especially when you discover the incredible amount of service we couple with our products!
Magnetic Signs - Wow! You'll love our prices on magnetic signs! A 18" x 12" set of two door signs is just $65 (plus, we give you a free tailgate/decklid magnetic sign with this package!) An 18" x 24" set of magnetics is just $95! And, we should mention that we can do custom sizes without a problem. Also important is the fact that we use only the 30 mil magnetic material -- this is the good stuff! Check out our magnetics page here.
Warranty Information
Guidelines for protecting your investment
We are very proud to be able to offer our customers a 100% satisfaction guarantee. How this works is that we will provide you a proof of your design or product before delivery. You will be provided up to 4 proofs for free. If you do not like any of the designs in the first 4 proofs, we will then charge a design fee for each following proof. Once we have found a design you like, you will receive a final proof of the design. When we have your approval, we will go ahead and create your product. When we present you with the final product, if you are not happy, we will work with you until you are. Once you have accepted final delivery and paid for your product, we will consider you as a satisfied customer. Product warranty details are below (warranties apply only to vinyl graphics, unless we indicate otherwise on your invoice/receipt).
Whiteline Design is offering a new warranty program for vinyl lettering and graphics. Cast vinyl and laminated wrap vinyl will be warrantied for a full 7 years against cracking, peeling, shrinkage, and fading. Non-laminated printed decals will be warrantied for up to 3 years (see your invoice for specifics). Calendared vinyl (printed or contour-cut) will be warrantied for up to 3 years. Holographic, metallized, fluorescent, and specialty vinyls will be warrantied for up to 6 months.
To qualify for the warranty, you must meet all of these conditions:
A Whiteline Design employee must install the vinyl (installation fees may be required depending on the time required to install the graphics and if we have to travel to your location to install them).
The ambient air and substrate (the surface vinyl is being applied to) temperature must be between 65 and 90 degrees Farenheit during the entire installation process.
The surface the vinyl is being applied to must be free of contaminates, defects, oil, grease, or imperfections. (Rusty paint is an example of an imperfect surface; an example of a contaminate that would hinder vinyl adhesion would be teflon waxes). Although we will prepare the surface of your vehicle for application, we are not responsible for washing your vehicle. We recommend you perform a thorough wash before you bring the vehicle to us. If your vehicle is not properly clean, you may be charged a wash fee.
The surface the vinyl is being applied to must not have been freshly painted. Since there are so many types of paints and so many different types of surfaces they can be applied to, you must follow the paint manufacturer’s curing guidelines in full before applying graphics. Generally speaking, a recently painted vehicle must cure for a minimum of 3 days before installing graphics (if the finish was professionally baked). Again, as a generality, a non-baked painted surface can require a minimum of 2 weeks of curing time at a constant ambient temperature of 65 degrees Farenheight. Since each paint and substrate is different, refer to your paint manufacturer’s guidelines. Most automotive paint manufacturers offer product guidelines on their corporate websites in the form of .PDF documents (DuPont, Omni, etc.) This is important because as paint dries, it "flashes" off the solvents in the paint in the form of gasses. These gasses can and do get trapped behind the vinyl causing ugly bubbles.
If the vinyl has failed due to abuse, it will not be covered. (Examples of abuse: A flag that constantly whips against a vinyl lettered sign will wear the vinyl away; racecar lettering that gets torn up due to on-track contact; lettering that has had chemicals applied to it such as motor oil being spilled on the lettering, etc., lettering that has been exposed to extreme heat – such as being applied to the hood of a racecar where the motor becomes overheated).
Warranty for cast lettering will cover shrinkage, cracking, peeling or discoloration of vinyl for 7 years, unless otherwise indicated on your invoice. Warranty will be void if lettering has been subjected to foreign chemicals (other than soap and water washing). In years 8 through 10, the vinyl will receive a pro-rated warranty. In the 8th year, if vinyl fails, it will be covered at 3/10ths of initial cost. In year 9, 2/10ths of initial cost will be covered. In year 10, 1/10th of initial cost is covered. No other warranties apply.
Obviously, these guidelines are mostly common sense, but if you have any questions at all, feel free to contact Lynn Mitchell, owner of Whiteline Design.
